Description of the field of study

The field allows students to acquire knowledge and skills generally related to computer science. They illustrate the variety of IT applications in such areas as: solving business and technical problems, computer games. 

Applied computer science is supplemented with training in physics and mathematics, basic entrepreneurship courses, as well as in social and professional issues in computer science. The emphasis is also on soft skills, such as presentation skills and teamwork skills. 

Students are trained in the following areas: software development as well as programming languages and techniques, algorithms and data structures, computer networks, data bases and warehouses, mobile, distributed and web systems, basics of the Internet of Things (IoT), multimedia and intelligent IT systems, software design and IT project management.

Employment perspectives

Graduates may find jobs in almost all branches of industry, economy or administration. The demand in the market is enormous. The IT industry is the most rapidly growing sector in the world. We cooperate with leading IT companies seated in Lower Silesia.
