Description of the field of study

The field teaches specialists who can combine and practically use the IT-related and the ICT-related knowledge. 

The teaching program includes: localization and navigation systems,  communication network security,  laboratory of scaling and connecting ICT networks, advanced methods for ICT network testing and for evaluating service quality, wireless sensor networks, ICT satellite networks, problems of electromagnetic environment protection, methods for optimising and designing effective algorithms, embedded systems, software testing and quality, data analysis methods, software in the IBM environment, and the continuation of training in the area of effective IT project management and entrepreneurship in ICT systems.

Specialisations

ICT Network Design, ICT Network Maintenance

The specialisation will be launched depending on student demand. It may not be launched if not enough students are interested in it.

The graduate can

run their own enterprises in the ICT sector, solve problems related to ICT network optimisation, design, develop and use computer systems for the analysis of, experiments with and protection of ICT networks.

Enrolment conditions

Required degree: Engineer or Engineer MSc.

Allowed fields of completed studies: Computer Science,  Information and Communication Technology,  Telecommunications,  Cybersecurity, Trusted AI Systems.
