Description of the field of study
This field of study is a response to the growing demand in the job market: in national companies and institutions, for specialists in providing and maintaining security in ICT systems.
Students become familiar among other things with: methods for providing secure services, structures and operation of data collection and processing centres, system and network security, auditing ICT networks, computer forensic science.
The field has been included in the actions aimed at improving the quality of teaching within the framework of the “Cybersecurity for the Economy of the Future” project.
The graduate can
design, implement and maintain complex security systems, undertake actions aimed at improving security in existing systems, react to incidents related to cybersecurity threats, collect evidence and perform examinations after a breach of security.
Enrolment conditions
Required degree: Engineer or Engineer MSc.
Allowed fields of completed studies: fields of study related to the scientific discipline of information and communication technology and fields of study in which the scientific discipline of information and communication technology is the leading discipline (examples: Computer Science, ICT, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Trusted AI Systems).
