Description of the field of study

In this interdisciplinary field, future engineers are trained to acquire a complex perspective on the world of technology. They become capable of leading teams and/or running own businesses.
Students learn the rudiments of systematic thinking in which they reach beyond a single sector or discipline. They can use this knowledge to develop innovative projects in systems compatible with their chosen education direction: data engineering or control systems.
Students receive a thorough education in fundamental subjects, including in mathematics and physics. As a result, they obtain specialized knowledge and skills related mostly to IT systems and their applications.

Students learn to design and implement systems supporting such areas as: business intelligence,  decision-making processes,  Internet of Things. They also learn to use IT tools, including Python,  to develop databases,  and to make an active use of the Internet resources.

Employment perspectives

Graduates are ready to start work for business entities in the IT sector and in similar sectors, on the following positions: system engineers,  system designers and business analysts,   data analysis and exploration specialists,  or in own businesses.
