Dear Students,
congratulations on your successful admission to studies on the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST)!
We kindly inform you that as part of your studies after February 16th, you will be assigned a student ID number (for graduates of WUST, this number remains the same) which will be your main identification number during your studies. You can find it in the IRK system in the Personal forms in the Education tab in the field Student number. The number consists of six digits.
Activation of your student’s mailbox:
Activate your student-mail box. The email address is in the form: studentID@student.pwr.edu.pl (eg. 789123@student.pwr.edu.pl)

Activation of your individual account
To log in to the information systems it is necessary to know your unique login to the information systems and set an individual password for access. Having an active student mailbox, you can proceed to activate your individual account. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

Logging to the USOS system
Having a login and password set in the previous step allow you to log into the USOSweb system.
Oath-taking
First step that you need to do after logging to the USOSweb system: you need to get acknowledged with the oath-take and accept (sign) it.
Obligation of delivering copy of the diploma - second degree students
Till 31.03.2024 you need to deliver the copy of your diploma to the Dean’s office in order to put it in your student’s acts. You need to have original of the diploma in order to show it’s compliance with the original.
Graduates of WUST are collecting theirs diplomas in the Diploma Personalization Office according to the information posted on the Faculty’s website: https://wit.pwr.edu.pl/en/students/graduates/diploma-collection
Graduates of universities outside WUST are obligated to deliver the copy of suplement (you need to have original document in order to check it’s compliance).
It’s possible to send above mentioned documents through postal services if they are notarized.
Student’s mailbox
Obligatory you need to activate your student’s mail box according to the instruction
OHS training
Participation in the OHS training is obligatory.
It concerns only graduates of WUST that validation of its OHS training after first level studies (5 years) and candidates outside of the WUST.
OHS training will take place in e-learning form, all materials are on the website https://ohs-training.pwr.edu.pl
All candidates admitted from outside of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology are asked to apply for a student ID card and pay the fee in the amount of 22 PLN to your individual student account visible in the USOSweb system.
Scanned signed request you need to send via email to dziekanat.wit@pwr.edu.pl in the topic of the mail write „ELS request – name & surname – abbreviation of your field of study (II lvl)”. When you’ll succesfully pay for the ELS, we will be able to process your request further (Personalization Department). When your student ID card will be ready for collection, you’ll get email.
Warning!
First degree graduates of Wrocław University of Science and Technology (graduation in the 2024 year) who take up second degree studies at the university or students studying simultaneously on first and second degree studies (in different fields of study) may use their existing ELS, thus don’t need to pay the fee for the Electronic Student Card - they retain the right to use the ELS card from the first degree studies at WUST. You need to send statement regarding the place where you receive the ELS to dziekanat.wit@pwr.edu.pl, in the topic stating „Statement ELS – name & surname – abbreviation of your field of study (II lvl)”
Extension of validation of student IDs will start in the middle of March according to the schedule, that will be posted on the faculty’s website.
Registration to the subjects
Registration for the faculty’s subjects for the newly-admitted students will be held according to the schedule.
Registration for the subjects (courses) will be in the USOS system.
Social aid (scholarships, dormitories etc.)
All information on social matters for students can be found at: https://prs.pwr.edu.pl/.
Other information on IT services made available for students and other information on studying will be provided on an ongoing basis through the USOS system and student mail.
