Description of the field of study
The study program includes issues related to designing IT systems for various applications in industry and in other branches of economy. 2nd cycle studies in English are intended to also develop research competences. Students gain knowledge and skills required in working as a system analyst or architect. Stress is also placed on making the teaching contents include information which is up-to-date and searched for in the job market, for example in such specialisation courses as: designing mobile systems, Artificial Intelligence and its applications, cloud computing, multimedia systems, optimisation algorithms and methods. data bases and warehouses, data mining techniques, internet technologies, performing research, development and scientific works, IT project management.
The programs offered in this field are intended to provide the student with a solid background for further comprehensive development of competences and with the possibility to choose from a broad range of future education and career paths, including in research and development departments.

Required degree: Engineer or Engineer MSc.
