Research fields

  • My main interest is what happens in players brains when they play games. I analyze the influence of various types of games on different types of personalities, correlating it with the brain chemicals that are released when playing. Additionally, I am researching the possibilities of applying state-of-the-art artificial intelligence methods in game design, in order to improve the player experience for instance by automatically adjusting the game difficulty during the game play itself.
