Regulations of the activity days at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology

§ 1 Organizer
The Days of Activity at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, hereinafter referred to as "DaWIT", are organized by the dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer", Janiszewskiego 11/17 St., 50-372 Wrocław, NIP: 896-000-58-51.

§ 2 Time and place of DaWIT
1. DaWIT will be held on 22 November, 2022 in the buildings of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology in Wrocław, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
2. The stands will be located in designated places of the buildings: C-1, C-4, C-5 and C-16.

§ 3 Exhibitors
1. Participants of DaWIT are Student Research Clubs at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology as well as other student and university organizations invited by the Organizer.
2. The Exhibitors shall be assigned to the exhibition stands by drawing lots, at least one week before the event.
3. The Exhibitors prepare their stands at least half an hour before the start of the event.
4. The Exhibitors arrange their stands after consulting the Organizer.
5. During the event, there will be a competition for the most interesting stand and the most interesting presentation of the Student Research Club. The jury committee will be composed of: Prof. Andrzej Kucharski, Prof. Paweł Wachel and Urszula Małecka.
6. The winning Research Club, i.e. the Club with the best arranged and the best presented stand, will receive the main prize.

8. Representatives of the exhibitors may participate in the event.
9. Exhibitors are required to prepare challenges for Participants.

§ 4 Participants and participation rules
1. DaWIT is addressed to students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.
2. DaWIT participants visiting each of the stands can accept the challenges prepared by the Exhibitors, thus obtaining a confirmation on the participant card.
3. The confirmations received from the Exhibitors shall be placed on the participant card, which can be collected before the event at the Dean's Office of the Faculty.
4. Participants who visit all Exhibitors and collect the confirmations, will take part in a prize lottery. For this purpose, they need to submit the participant card with the index number to the Dean's Office by 2:00 p.m. on the same day, i.e. 22 November, 2022.
5. The lottery will take place at 2:30 p.m. at C-1 building in front of the Dean's Office of the Faculty.

7. The main prize is on-ear wireless headphones and Faculty gadgets.

§ 5 Safety conditions
1. It is strictly forbidden to consume alcohol or other intoxicants during DaWIT .
2. The generally applicable health and safety and fire protection rules shall be binding.
3. The Organizer does not provide accident insurance.
4. The Participant is personally responsible for the consequences of violating the above-mentioned provisions and other legal regulations.

§ 6 Final provisions
1. The Organizer reserves the right to change the Regulations, which fact shall be communicated to the Participants and Exhibitors at least one day before the start of DaWIT by publication on the following website: https://wit.pwr.edu.pl/en/news/dawit
2. The final interpretation of the Regulations shall belong to the Organizer. In disputes, the Organizer's decision is final. Ignorance of the Regulations does not exempt the Participant from complying with them.
3. The Organizer shall not be responsible for events that prevent the normal organization of DaWIT, which could not be predicted or prevented, in particular in the event of random events, including force majeure.
4. All Participants and Exhibitors consent to the publication of their image in reports from DaWIT published in the media and the Organizer's promotional materials and consent to the processing of their personal data in the Organiser's database in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May, 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000) and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April, 2016 on the protection of individuals in connection with processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).
