On 6th November, the first seminar of the discipline of information and communication technology was held under the term of office of Prof. Wojciech Bożejko. The speaker at the meeting was Prof. Jacek Cichoń.

Since this September, Prof. Wojciech Bożejko, head of the Department of Control Systems and Mechatronics at our Faculty, has chaired the ICT Scientific Discipline Council. In accordance with the Statute of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Scientific Discipline Councils are organs entitled to award the scientific degrees of doctor and habilitated doctor, with a four-year term of office.

This term's first seminar of the council of the discipline of information and communication technology was held on 6 November, at 11:15 in room 23, building C-3. The first speaker was Prof. Jacek Cichoń from the Department of Fundamentals of Computer Science, who during his speech touched on the topic of probabilistic methods in algorithmic analysis and discussed several examples.

The next seminar will be held on 4 December 2024. The speaker will be Prof. Piotr Słobodzian, and the topic of his speech will be „Modelling the impact of intentional electromagnetic disturbances on objects of telecommunication infrastructure."
