Regulamin polsko-czesko-słowackiej grywalizacji CyberTron 2023
§ 1 Organizers
The organizers of CyberTron are:

hereinafter referred to as "Organizers".
§ 2 Time and place
1. CyberTron is a game that will be held on 25-27 September, 2023 at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, in the SKS (Student Culture Zone) building, at Hoene-Wrońskiego 10 st., 50-376 Wrocław.
2. The game consists of two parts: the field part, which will take place on the campus of Wrocław University of Science and Technology – the participants will receive maps to help them find the elements necessary to continue the game, such as QR codes, passwords, sequences of numbers or necessary information.
3. The IT part will take place at SKS. SKS will be the main base and the participants will start from it every day.
4. On the first day of the game, the participants should arrive no later than at 2:00 p.m. in order to: register with the Organizers, draw a team, take part in the campus game and in integration activities combined with a sightseeing tour of Wrocław from the perspective of the Odra River.
5. On the second day of the game, the participants should arrive by 9:00 a.m. The game will start at 9:30 a.m. and last until 6 p.m., including an hour break for lunch.
6. On the third day of the game, the participants should arrive by 9:00 a.m. The game will start at 9:30 a.m. and last until 2 p.m
7. The results will be announced on the last day between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
§ 3 Participants and teams
1. CyberTron is addressed to high school students from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia who were selected during the qualifying rounds.
2. The participants will be divided by lot into 4-person Polish-Czech-Slovak teams.
3. The participants can use their equipment (mobile phones, GPS receivers, cameras or laptops, but only until the end of the game on a given day).
4. The Organizers will turn off access to the game after its end on each day, so that the participants have time for regeneration and team-building activities in their free time.
5. The participants should perform the tasks assigned to them using the infrastructure provided by the Organizers, but they can also use their own equipment, such as their own laptops.
6. Before the game starts, the participants should introduce themselves to their team and put on visibility marks, take their playing position and familiarize themselves with the equipment or software they will be working with.
7. The participants can use catering services throughout the game and thus take breaks that are convenient for them.
§ 4 Mentors
1. Any participant of the previous edition of CyberTron can become a mentor.
2. A person willing to become a mentor contacts the Organizers at: promocja.wit@pwr.edu.pl, completes a training and participates in the preparation of game tasks.
3. Mentors provide their knowledge and help to the participants, but only when asked for it.
4. Mentors are not allowed to interfere with the game played by the participants.
§ 5 Field game locations
1. The field part is played in three locations, where each team will have to complete a task. The knowledge and codes acquired in individual locations will be useful during the IT part of the game.
2. The teams shall appear in individual locations in any order using the map received from the Organizers.
3. The entire team shall appear in all locations and complete individual tasks – the players will find task descriptions in a given location.
4. The teams can use the map received from the Organizers (Appendix 1) and/or use their own GPS equipment.

- WCSS – the Bem Superkomputer (D-21 – 3rd floor)
- The „Love Mathematics" exibition (D-21 – ground floor, hall)
6. The participants shall take a creative photo of their team referring to CyberTron in one of theselected locations and send it on 26 September, 2023 by 4:00 p.m. to the following address: urszula.malecka@pwr.edu.pl. The photo that receives the most votes will be added to the team's final score. The best photo will be chosen by the participants, who will vote by attaching a pin to the photo of their choice.
§ 6 IT game rules
1. Each task in the game will be scored separately.
2. In this part, the team that scores the greatest number of points wins.
3. The time spent on solving the task will be measured starting from the moment the task is made available to the teams.
4. Solving subsequent tasks allows the completion of work on the previous task.
5. In the case of a tie, the total time spent on completing the tasks will be decisive.
6. The tasks can only be completed during gameplay hours and from the game location.
§ 7 Points
1. The team that collects the highest number of points in both the field game and the IT game wins the competition.
2. In the field game, points shall be awarded to the photo with the best alternative description (Polinka) and to the creative photo of the team (any location).
3. Each participant will be able to vote individually for the most creative photo displayed in the gallery (Student Culture Zone).
4. The participants cannot vote for the photo of their own team.
§ 8 Prizes
1. The winning team will be announced on the third day of CyberTron, i.e. on 27 September, 2023, and will thus win the main prize.
§ 9 Safety Conditions
1. The safety of the participants is monitored by their supervisors throughout the game.
2. It is strictly forbidden to consume alcohol or other intoxicants during CyberTron.
3. The generally applicable health and safety and fire protection rules shall be binding.
4. The Organizers do not provide accident insurance.
5. The participant is personally responsible for the consequences of violating the above- mentioned provisions and other legal regulations.
§ 10 Final provisions
1. The Organizers reserve the right to change the Regulations, which fact shall be communicated to the participants and exhibitors at least one day before the start of CyberTron by publication on the following website: https://wit.pwr.edu.pl/en/news/cybertron
2.The final interpretation of the Regulations shall belong to the Organizers. In disputes, the Organizers shall have the final decision. Ignorance of the Regulations does not exempt the participant from complying with them.
3. The Organizers shall not be responsible for events that prevent the normal organization of CyberTron, which could not be predicted or prevented, in particular in the event of random events, including force majeure.
4. All participants consent to the publication of their image in reports from CyberTron published in the media and the promotional materials of the Organizers, and consent to the processing of their personal data in the Organizers’ database in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May, 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000) and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April, 2016 on the protection of individuals in connection with processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).
