Scientific Circle of Biomedical Informatics is concerned with the practical application of computer science to solve problems in biology and medicine. We are scientists and we stick to it.

Working in our club is different from working in most of the clubs at our University. First of all, we focus on publishing scientific papers and developing IT solutions for their needs. Our publications are primarily concerned with the applications of artificial intelligence in medicine and bioengineering. Those publications appear in highly scored scientific journals and at conferences that our club members have the opportunities to travel to. In order to create these publications, we carry out detailed research and experiments.

We cooperate with the Medical University of Wrocław and local companies which deal with similar issues. Members of our club, after showing their skills by working together on scientific projects, often find employment in companies of great importance and take part in numerous other research projects.

The substantive care of our circle is provided by people dealing with the subject of application of AI solutions in medicine. We support the initiatives of club members and their own ideas for articles. We also provide technical and knowledge support, share our experience and help each other at work.
