Our university has organised a meeting of the deans of the faculties of chemistry and computer science from the Unite! alliance. The event was dedicated to strategic collaboration in the field of education, research, and the development of new technologies. One of the invited guests was Prof. Andrzej Kucharski, the dean our Faculty.

The two-day conference took place in building H-14, and the participants focused on joint actions aimed at strengthening the educational and research potential of the network.

The first day was dedicated to reviewing the strategic priorities of individual universities. Faculty representatives discussed their experiences and plans for collaboration as part of a joint educational offer. There were also efforts to create joint study programs and courses.

On the second day, the participants focused on specific areas of cooperation. The deans of the chemical faculties discussed joint educational initiatives, while the heads of the computer science faculties explored key research directions such as quantum computing, cybersecurity, system engineering, and entrepreneurship.

An important part of the conference was the joint panel session dedicated to future challenges – the impact of artificial intelligence on education and research, changes in teaching, and ways to increase the attractiveness of doctoral studies.
