1st edition of the Faculty Days of Activity is over, as are all the meetings with Faculty research clubs and University organizations. Students frequented the stands, many joined the research clubs and made acquaintances which in the future will facilitate the cooperation with WUST organizations.

However, the greatest event turned out to be the WITels’ concert. Our Faculty's “Beatles” band includes: Prof. Andrzej Kucharski (bass guitar), Prof. Paweł Wachel, vice-dean for student affairs (electric guitar), Prof. Tomasz Kajdanowicz, head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence  (electric guitar), Dr. Marek Kopel (drums) and Paula Sobok from the secretary's office, (vocals).

The concert gathered crowds of students and even Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs, WSUT Rector, known for his love of music, especially classical music, came to listen.

Many of the visiting students collected stamps to win prizes in the lottery for the most active Faculty student. Immediately after the event, Prof. Andrzej Kucharski, dean of the Faculty, drew three prizes:

1. Marshall Major IV wireless headphones, a Faculty backpack, a lanyard and a camera cover went to a student with the index number 264504
2. a YubiKey, a Faculty backpack, a lanyard and a camera cover went to a student with index number 272678
3. A WUST jumper went to a student who was present at the lottery and received the prize right after it.
In turn, two research clubs received awards in the form of a roll up, which will be created and financed by the vice-dean of the Faculty as part of promotional activities.

Congratulations to all the winners. We can't wait to see you in the 2nd Faculty Activity Days next year. The awarded students and research clubs are asked to contact the Department Promotion and Contacts with Stakeholders.
