„CyberTron" is a competition for high school students consisting of a field game and an IT-related component focused on cybersecurity. The goal of the competition is to raise awareness about the threats that can lurk on the internet, teach how to deal with them, and potentially eliminate them without harming the user.

The storyline of this year's game edition revolved around the world of media. Hackers took over a local editorial portal and paralyzed its operations. Young IT enthusiasts from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia came to the rescue.

In the final game held from Monday onwards, 24 young computer science enthusiasts participated – ten from Poland, ten from the Czech Republic, and four Slovak students for the first time. Participants were divided into international teams, tasked with defending against a hacking attack.

The game scenario and tasks were created by scientists from the Wrocław University of Technology, students from the White Hats Science Club, as well as employees of the Wrocław Network-Supercomputing Center, along with sixteen Polish mentors, who were previous competition participants.

The organizers of the competition are Wrocław University of Technology, the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications at Wrocław University of Technology, and the Wrocław Network-Supercomputing Center.
