Olga Bożyk and Iwo Chwiszczuk are a couple studying at our Faculty. They "bumped into each other" during classes and got together. On Valentine's Day, we'll tell you the love story of a the W4 couple.

She studies Cybersecurity. He studies Information Technology in Automation Systems. Since both fields are in our Faculty, Olga and Iwo shared some courses. They were even in the same groups, but they didn't notice each other. Everything changed in April 2024.

– We went to the Spring Rally Smurfmission. I remember that I introduced myself to her. We talked a little, but Olga doesn't remember it – says Iwo, laughing.

After the rally, Olga and Iwo met at the Student Government, where they talked a little more. Later, there were joint Juwenalia celebrations and a pre-party at the Student Culture Zone.

– And then it took off – adds Iwo. In May 2024, the students became a couple.

Studying together – help or obstacle?

The couple note that they don't see each other much at the Faculty. They study different fields, and so they usually have different instructors. Nevertheless, they admit that there are situations in which being a couple makes studying at the same faculty easier for them.

– We had some classes together, so we could study together. Now we'll go to an English course together, so we'll be spending more time with each other – says Olga.

– Sometimes Olga helps me, and some other times I help her. It's also nice that we share the university friends – says Iwo.

They like games

The lovers believe they are much alike. They are both organised, ambitious, and they both appreciate order. They often agree about what they don't like. They view the world in a similar way. Both of them love board games. They have a group of friends they play with. The couple also enjoys similar computer games.

They also have a custom of giving each other gifts on various holidays. They go out shopping, but before that, they settle on the categories of the gifts to be bought (favourite snack or colour).
