Twenty-four researchers received their habilitation degrees at our university in 2025. This group includes Dr. Hab. Maciej Nikodem and Dr. Hab. Adam Ratajczak from our Faculty. During a special ceremony, they received their diplomas from Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs, the rector of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and from Prof. Renata Krzyżyńska, the vice-rector for research and innovation.

In Polish academic system, habilitation is an important step in the development of an academic career, and a confirmation of high-quality research, teaching and organisational achievements.

Recipients of the habilitated degree in 2025 include representatives from twelve faculties of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The most represented disciplines were from the field of engineering and technology, but promotions were also awarded in natural sciences as well as in social sciences.
