„Computer Vision in the Classification of Breast and Cervical Cancer in the Context of 3P Medicine". This is the topic of the next seminar within the scientific discipline of Information and Communication Technology, which was held on 5 March 2025.
The seminar of the ICT scientific discipline started at 11:15 in room 41 of building C-4. It was the fourth seminar during the tenure of the current chairman of this discipline’s council – Prof. Wojciech Bożejko from the Department of Control Systems and Mechatronics.
The speaker was Dr. Łukasz Jeleń from the Department of Technical Computer Science. He focused on computer vision in the classification of breast and cervical cancer in the context of 3P medicine. It is based on prediction, prevention, and a personalised approach to the patient.
The next seminar of the ICT discipline will be held exceptionally already on 17 March 2025, also in room 41 of building C-4. The lecture by Prof. Rui Dinis from Lisbon will begin at 1:15 p.m. The researcher will discuss issues related to 6G transmission in a lecture titled „Achieving High Power Efficiency with Variable Envelope Signals".
In accordance with the Statute of Wrocław University of Science and Technology Scientific Discipline Councils are organs entitled to award the scientific degrees of doctor and habilitated doctor. Their term lasts 4 years.
