Wrocław Academic Centre has announced the winners of the latest edition of the Student Activity Fund. As many as 11 grants will go to students from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, who will thus carry out the greatest number of projects. Among them are 2 projects from our strategic student research clubs – the Neuron Neuroinformatics Club and the Solvro Club. Congratulations!
AttenSphere – this is a recognised project of the Neuron Club, which was awarded funding of 10,500 PLN under the FAST programme.
The project involves the development of an innovative VR/AR platform aimed at increasing user engagement through the use of modern technologies and motivational mechanisms. The system will use brain-computer interfaces to continuously measure EEG signals, enabling the analysis of brain activity during therapeutic sessions. The platform also aims to enhance therapy effectiveness by offering interactive and engaging training mechanisms, as well as by enabling competition and real-time user collaboration.
The other project from our Faculty is "Health Plays the Leading Role". This is a joint project of the Student Heart-Disease Research Club at the Medical University and of the Solvro Club from our Faculty, awarded funding in the amount of 5,850 PLN.
The goal of the project to organise several events in Wrocław, with an aim to promote a healthy lifestyle among residents, educate them on heart disease prevention, and conduct measurements among some willing participants, so as to enable studies on the impact of music therapy on heart function. The project will include the development of a mobile application and a website.
