Scientists from our faculty were recognized during the inauguration ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic year. Prof. Adrianna Kozierkiewicz received the National Education Commission Medal, and Prof. Jacek Mazurkiewicz received the Docendo Discimus Special Award from the rector of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Congratulations!

The National Education Commission Medals were awarded to three academic teachers in recognition of their special contributions to education. The medals were awarded to:

• Prof. Adrianna Kozierkiewicz, (deputy head for organisation at the Department of Applied Informatics),

• Dr. Adam Jaroszewicz (Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering),

• Prof. Anna Janicka (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering).

The medal awarded in 2024 was also received by Dr. Andrzej Gronczewski, Assoc. Prof. (Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering).

Docendo Discimus awards from the rector for special achievements in teaching were awarded to:
