The mortarboards flew high into the air again. Congratulations to the graduates of the first- and second-cycle studies and thank you for being with us during the second Graduation Ceremony at our Faculty!
On 16 November, almost 270 graduates received commemorative diplomas in the Wrocław University of Science and Technology auditorium. They were accompanied by their families. There were congratulatory speeches, emotions and camera flashes. The ceremony of awarding diplomas to first and second cycle studies was opened by Prof. Andrzej Kucharski, dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.
After the dean's speech, there was time for awarding the best students. Graduates recognised in the TOP 10 competition for the best diploma in the first-cycle and second-cycle studies at our Faculty entered the stage.
TOP 10 and other awards
The first place in the competition for the best Faculty graduate in the first-cycle studies was taken by Maksymilian Górski, B.Sc. The next awards were taken by:

The first place in the competition for the best Faculty graduate in the second-cycle studies was taken by Konrad Karanowski, M.Sc. The rest of the TOP 10 were:

The awards in the competition for the best diploma theses organized by the Wrocław branch of the Polish Electrical Association were presented by Edward Ziaja, its president. The Wrocław branch of the association recognised the theses of Paweł Marek Bogdan, B.Sc. Bartosz Grzegorz Kozłowski, B.Sc., Izabela Majchrowska, B.Sc. and Michał Jóźków, M.Sc.
Similarly, the Wrocław-based company Transition Technologies-Control Solutions represented by Paweł Sukiennik awarded the diploma thesis of one of our graduates. The competition was won by Konrad Karanowski.

During the ceremony, the graduates were also encouraged to stay in touch with the Faculty's community. This topic was also further developed by Kamil Nawirski, chairman of the Alumni Association at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. He also encouraged students to stay in touch, and described the initiatives of the association.
After awarding diplomas to the remaining graduates, the Artrio band appeared on stage, consisting of Beata Solnicka – violin, Ewa Dymek-Kuś – cello, Magdalena Just – harp. The band gave a short concert of film music at the end of the ceremony.
