The last seminar of this academic year within the scientific discipline of Information and Communication Technology took place on 10 June. The speaker was Prof. Grzegorz Soboń from the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems, who gave a lecture on femtosecond lasers as a tool for computer scientists.

The seminar took place in room 23 of building C-3. It began at 11:15 a.m. The speaker was Prof. Grzegorz Soboń. The researcher from the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems delivered a lecture entitled "From a Flash of Light to a Qubit: Femtosecond Lasers as a Tool for Computer Scientists".

The chairman of the ICT Scientific Discipline Council is currently Prof. Wojciech Bożejko. This was the fourteenth seminar held during his tenure. Scientific Discipline Councils are the bodies responsible for awarding the academic degrees of Doctor and Habilitated Doctor.

The next seminar in the scientific discipline of Information and Communication Technology will take place in the new academic year, in October or November.
