Joel Kojma and Jonasz Lazar from our Faculty won the university's competition for the best student business idea at ABi – Business Academy. The first place was awarded to our students for their ScrollPay project.

Prof. Jerzy Świątek and Prof. Tadeusz Więckowski from our Faculty are among the four distinguished scientists from WUST who were awarded the status of Professor Magnus 2025.

The next Information and Communication Technology discipline seminar already took place. The topic was the construction of quantum computer infrastructure based on ion trap technology.

Quantum Day, a popular science session dedicated to quantum computers and technologies, took place as part of the second day of the event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Wrocław Centre for Networking and Supercomputing at WUST.

There is now an English version of the ToPWR mobile application developed by our Strategic Student Research Club Solvro. The application is designed to help students find their way around the university.

The first quantum computer in Poland, which uses superconducting qubit technology at low temperatures, has been launched at WUST. The five-qubit machine named „Odra 5” was developed and delivered by IQM Quantum Computers.
