In accordance with the pre-election announcements made by the rector Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs, there will be changes in the composition and distribution of powers of the university's authorities on 1 September.

Our students: Bartosz Piekielny (2nd place) and Adam Broszkiewicz (9th place) were in the top ten during the finals of the 25th National English Language Olympiad for Technical University Students in Poznań. Congratulations!

For several years, he has been not only a national team member, but also a referee. After classes, he puts on a kimono and trains kata at the Budokan Wrocław club.

The „Neuron” Neuroinformatics Student Research Club was awarded in the Young Talents competition organised by the Lower Silesian Capital Club. Our students received a statuette in the "Success in Innovation" category. Congratulations!

Six grants awarded by Wrocław Academic Centre went to student research clubs and the culture agencies at WUST. One of them went to Breadboard Computing from our Faculty. The city supported student initiatives with a total of 48,000 pln.

74 young scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology Doctoral School, including 8 from our Faculty, received funding for the implementation of their projects as part of the first edition of the competition prepared by WUST.

Prof. Andrzej Kucharski, dean of our Faculty, was appointed to the Council for Innovation in Higher Education and Science. The Council was appointed by the Minister of Science, Dariusz Wieczorek. Congratulations!

A Polish-Finnish team of specialists from various fields was among the leaders of the largest cybersecurity exercise organized by NATO. The Polish national team included Dr. Michał Walkowski from our Faculty.

ACIIDS (Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems) came to the United Arab Emirates as part of its 16th edition.

Dr. Tomasz Szandała from the Department of Technical Computer Science won a prestigious ESKAS Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for young doctors.
