Qualifications for the CyberTron Academy 2026 – international cybersecurity competition involving students from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany will be held on 16th April. This is the first edition in which we are organising the qualifications – they will be conducted online for nearly 400 students from a total of 32 Lower Silesian schools.
Participants in the eliminations will face a cyber security test with tasks having various levels of difficulty, including topics from the areas of operating systems, computer networks, cryptography, algorithms, and general IT knowledge.
Eleven winners of the eliminations will participate in the CyberTron Academy 2026 finals – international Cybersecurity Championships involving participants from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany. The finals will take place on 14-18 September at the Campus of our University, in the Student Culture Zone.
In this year's edition of the CyberTron competition, which has been taking place since 2022, we will enable young people not only to compete in the field of cyber security but also to participate in workshops or lectures preceding the finals. This international competition is a chance for young people to show not only their IT skills and knowledge of cybersecurity, but also their interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an international team.

Last year's, fourth edition of the competition took place on 16-18 September at the University's Student Culture Zone. The event was attended by 32 high school students from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany, who were selected in the eliminations. During the finals, they were divided into 4-person, international teams.
The winning team consisted of: Saskia Laura Machovičová (Slovakia), Dan Vašíček (Czech Republic), Oliwia Płoch (Poland, Technical School No. 10), and Michał Hanak (Poland, High School No. 5 in Wrocław). They collected the highest number of points for their tasks.
