During a special ceremony in the main auditorium of our university, 113 researchers received their doctoral diplomas. This group included 23 new doctors from our Faculty. The event was chaired by Rector Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs, and co-led by Prof. Renata Krzyżyńska, the vice-rector for research and innovation.

Doctoral promotions are one of the most important events in the academic life of a university. It symbolically ends many years of intensive research, the completion of ambitious research projects and scientific development in various disciplines.

This year's doctoral students at Wrocław University of Science and Technology include representatives of engineering and technology, natural sciences, and social sciences.

Doctoral degrees are awarded to researchers in areas such as architecture and urban planning, civil, chemical and materials engineering, technical computer science, telecommunications, automation, electronics and electric engineering, environmental engineering, management, mechanical engineering, physical sciences, and mathematics.
