In the latest episode of the series “Talking with the Rector about WUST,” Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs talked to Prof. Kamil Staniec, the vice-rector for education from our Faculty. They were discussing the results of the Perspektywy Higher Education Ranking and the excellent results of the ALO academic high school graduates.

In the ranking of the Perspektywy Foundation, Wrocław University of Science and Technology advanced this year to sixth place, and additionally, three of our fields of study are the best in Poland. We are also the best university in Lower Silesia, and we have maintained the fourth position in the country among technical universities.

In the new episode of the cycle, Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs and Prof. Kamil Staniec comment on the ranking results, analyse its methodology, review our university's high positions in terms of their research potential, academic prestige, and perspectives of graduates in the job market.

They also talk about the excellent results of this year's high school graduates from the WUST Academic High School, who did exceptionally well in their final exams.

They wrote both math exams in Poland, scoring 98% at the basic level and 81% at the advanced level. They also achieved the best results in advanced level physics in Lower Silesia (75%) and in basic level English language (98%).

Importantly, of the Wrocław schools they were also best in the advanced history exam (85%), which is the eighth best result in Poland.
