Student Ideas Pop Up in Spring

Date: 07.04.2026 Categories: General

A wide range of innovative projects were on display during the spring edition of Student Activity Days. Nearly 80 research clubs, student organisations and cultural groups presented their ideas in the popular “Serowiec” building. Research clubs from our Faculty were also among the participants.

Student Activity Days is the largest festival of student activity at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, held twice a year – in March and October. It offers students a platform to present their projects, share ideas and encourage others to join university organisations.

– A new semester has begun, bringing with it new student ideas, and I can’t wait to see what you will surprise us with this time. Studying at university is one thing, but it is through activity in research clubs that you can truly develop your passions and interests. I hope we will meet again at the many competitions and events still ahead of us – said Dr Piotr Górski, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs.

At the Serowiec (C-13 building), along the PWr Boulevard and in workshops on Gdańska Street, visitors could explore the work of nearly 80 student organisations. Exhibits included electric vehicles, rockets and various types of drones. Visitors could also take part in chemical experiments, learn about 3D printing technologies and join competitions with prizes.

– It’s fantastic to see so much positive energy and innovative thinking. I have just returned from international trade fairs, where students from countries such as the Netherlands and Italy presented their projects. I hope you will also have the opportunity to take part in such events in the future and promote your ideas – added Prof. Piotr Młynarz, Vice-Rector for Organisation and Infrastructure.

During this year’s edition, our Faculty was represented by the following student research clubs: Solvro, White Hats, Emognition, TK Games, CyberTech, Neuron and Student Development Studio. More information about WIT student research clubs is available here.
