Update for the Odra 5 Quantum Computer
A software update for the Odra 5 quantum computer has been deployed. As part of the latest system version, users now have access to the interactive IQM Server panel, which facilitates monitoring the device operation and analysing processor parameters in real time.
The new interface provides researchers and students with a range of key information necessary for planning and verifying experiments:
- System status and calendar: A tool for continuously checking the processor availability (status “Available”), previewing the length of the task queue, and using an interactive booking calendar.
- Computing history: The dedicated “Your Latest Jobs” section enables quick verification of the status of assigned tasks, their duration (Runtime), and the execution mode.
- Advanced diagnostics: Users now have access to detailed calibration data of the “STAR” topology system. The panel presents, among other things, relaxation and decoherence times (T1, T2), gate fidelity, and a visualisation of connections between qubits.
The new panel is available at: https://odra5.e-science.pl/
The service is available only to users with an active e-science.pl account and an open grant for quantum computations. For additional security, the connection requires the use of the VPN provided by the Wrocław Centre for Networking and Supercomputing (address: vpn.kdm.wcss.pl).
