On 14 January, another seminar within the scientific discipline of Information and Communication Technology took place, entitled “Normalizing Flows – Fundamental Concepts and Applications in Counterfactual Explanation.” This time, the lecture was delivered by Prof. Maciej Zięba from the Department of Artificial Intelligence.

The seminar was held in room 205 of building C-1. It began at 11:15 a.m. The speaker was Prof. Maciej Zięba from the Department of Artificial Intelligence. Our researcher delivered a lecture entitled “Normalizing Flows – Fundamental Concepts and Applications in Counterfactual Explanation.”

The ICT Scientific Discipline Council is currently chaired by Prof. Wojciech Bożejko, Head of the Department of Control Systems, Mechatronics and Automation. This was the eleventh seminar during his term of office. Scientific discipline councils are the bodies authorised to award the academic degrees of doctor and habilitated doctor.
