On 7 May, a seminar was held in the discipline of Information and Communication Technology. The discussion focused on propagation processes in complex networks. The speaker was Prof. Piotr Bródka from the Department of AI.

Is it possible to effectively forecast air pollution levels in cities that don't have an extensive monitoring network? Our Faculty's researchers posed this challenge to the participants of the international Air Pollution Prediction&Modeling Hackathon

High school students from across the region — as well as from more distant parts of Poland, including Rzeszów and Słupsk — visited our Faculty of Information and Communication Technology during its Open Day.

In recognition of their contributions to the development of our University, 27 employees received the Wrocław University of Science and Technology Golden Badges. This group includes 11 people from our Faculty.

67 staff members from our University, including 6 from our Faculty, received the Crosses of Merit and Medals for Long Service – decorations awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland.

The Second „WITKoN” Student Research Clubs and Active Students Conference took place on Tuesday, 15 April 2025. The event programme included 3 networking sessions and 11 lectures, as well as presentations of the clubs and their achievements.

Mariusz Topolski is another scientist from our department who has been awarded the academic degree of habilitated doctor. Our Faculty can now also boast twelve new researchers with doctoral degrees. Congratulations!
