„White Hats" represented by: Michał Bernacki, Brunon Blok, Adrian Dyl, and Jakub Rau took first place in the national-level "Capture The Flag" competition.

On 17 March 2025, a seminar was held in the discipline of Information and Communication Technology. The topics included 6G transmission. This was the second seminar organised this month.

Seven specialised research laboratories will be established as part of the Centre for Trusted Information and Telecommunication Systems There are also plans for a new building that will be constructed on the Na Grobli Campus.

Our last year's graduate Damian Raczkowski played chess with the rector, Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs. The graduate successfully bid for a chess game as part of the 33rd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

A team led by Prof. Andrzej Pawłowski from our Faculty, is developing a process control system to assist anaesthesiologists in patient anaesthesia. Works on the project could start thanks to a grant of PLN 2.6 million from the NCN.

Prof. Dariusz Król, vice-dean for general affairs, was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. The scientist was awarded, among other things, for „outstanding contributions to the political transformation of our country".

„Computer Vision in the Classification of Breast and Cervical Cancer in the Context of 3P Medicine". This is the topic of the next seminar within the scientific discipline of Information and Communication Technology, which was held on 5 March 2025.

Jędrzej Stasik, a graduate from our Faculty and winner of the CreatiWITy competition, constructed a drone capable of indicating to rescuers the location of people buried by an avalanche.

It can summarise documents, advise users of the mObywatel application, and search for necessary information – meet PLLuM, a large language model developed by a consortium led by Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
