560 new foreign students officially commenced their studies at Wroclaw Tech today. During a special ceremony organised by the International Office, they were welcomed by, among others, the Vice-Rector for Cooperation, Prof. Dariusz Łydżba.

This year's CyberTron game competition was won by a Polish-Slovak team composed of Tymon Boliński and Marcel Kosmala (both students of the Academic High School of Wrocław University of Technology) along with František Mikuláš and Andrej Smeral.

Hackers took over the internet portal of the local newspaper newsroom and paralysed its work. Only young IT specialists from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia can remediate the situation.

Zuzanna Jasińska won the gold medal at the 2023 World University Games in Chengdu! Our student won the competition in the 2000 m lightweight singles rowing competition.

Rector of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs awarded the title professor magnus to six outstanding scientists. This is an expression of appreciation for their contributions to science and our university.
