Paweł Zyblewski, Ph.D. from our Faculty received a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) for an outstanding young researcher. Among them, there wer six WUST researchers. Congratulations!

Two outstanding researchers from our Faculty: Prof. Tadeusz Więckowski and Prof. Jerzy Świątek received the Professor Magnus Awards. The rector also awarded four other scientists from the University. Congratulations!

Five students from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, including two from our Faculty: a rower Zuzanna Jasińska and an archer Miłosz Chojecki, qualified for the third edition of the Polish Academic Team program.

Jan Kocoń, Ph.D. and Paweł Ksieniewicz, Ph.D. from our Faculty are among the 24 researchers who will participate in the work of Academia Iuvenum.

Prof. Halina Kwaśnicka from our Faculty received a special award at the conference "Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2022", during which the winners of the TOP of the TOP Women in AI competition were announced. Congratulations!

Paweł Zyblewski, Ph.D., from our Faculty won the Polish Artificial Intelligence Society award for the best Ph.D. Dissertation in Artificial Intelligence (11th Edition, 2021).

Prof. Halina Kwaśnicka and Prof. Urszula Markowska-Kaczmar from our Faculty have been listed top AI experts. Congratulations! The list was prepared by the “Perspektywy” educational foundation.

Works are carried out on the topics submitted to this year's Team Projects Conference. Students of our Faculty and of the W12 Faculty are preparing such projects as an intelligent blind stick and a camera for detecting falls.

Seven students from our Faculty won the “Google Cloud Challenge”, organized by Google Cloud. A total of over 100 students took part in the competition, mainly from our Faculty.

Over 40 students and employees of the Faculty, together with the dean, Prof. Andrzej Kucharski took part in the 20th Guinness Guitar Record.
