The National Science Centre has announced the the final edition of the Miniatura 8 competition. A record number of 16 grants went to researchers from WUST, including Dr. Mateusz Mądry from the Department of ICT and Telecommunications.

The first two places were taken by our Filip Janas and Mateusz Kula. The race was also attended by, among others, Prof. Paweł Wachel, vice-dean for student affairs, and the chairman of our student self-government, Szymon Matyja. Congratulations!

Neurohackathon – Heroes of the Brain – organised by the Neuron Neuroinformatics Research Club and by the Student Self-Government of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology is the biggest such event in Poland.

This year's winners of the Student Scholarship Program include doctoral students from our Faculty. Dominika Kunc and Albert Sawczyn showed exceptional achievements in their fields.

Traditionally, during the Wrocław University of Science and Technology Day, our researchers received Scientific Awards and research scholarships from the rector. The awards went to 15 researchers, including Dr. Jan Kocoń.

Krzysztof Wołkonowski, a master's student in the field of Algorithmic Computer Science, won distinctions in two national competitions with his engineering thesis and first place in the competition for the best paper at the ELEMENTS conference.
