Students from our Strategic Student Research Club “Solvro” won the HackYeah hackathon in the Journey Radar category. Within 24 hours, they prepared the "Jak Doczłapię" tool, designed for delivering public transport delay notifications to passengers.

The new 2025/2026 academic year was started at our Faculty on Wednesday, 15th October. The event was organized in the main auditorium hall of our University.

Our Strategic „Neuron” Neuroinformatics Student Research Club received funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Congratulations!

Our students developed a free mobile app called „First Fiddle”. It includes eleven picturesque walking routes in Wrocław. You can explore them while listening to music, and the app will indicate the approximate number of the burned calories.

At least 500 people with special needs, including those with certified disabilities, are currently studying and working at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Among them are students and employees of our Faculty.

Prof. Adrianna Kozierkiewicz received the National Education Commission Medal, and Prof. Jacek Mazurkiewicz received the Docendo Discimus Special Award from the rector of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Congratulations!

First-cycle Artificial Intelligence has been launched at our Faculty. The new course proved very attractive during the recruitment process. Graduates of AI are expected to play a significant role in the development of industry, science, and medicine.

Success for Daria Pietraszko, this year’s graduate of the FICT! Her master’s thesis was awarded in the Young Masters Competition in the category of Best Work in the Field of Cybersecurity. Congratulations!
